Reusability
Components are reusable parts of a user interface. Using pre-built, core elements allows teams to build consistent services. You can also use the individual components in different patterns and contexts.
This is an integral part of the initial scaffold that is built, separating out the design and integrated development. Individual components can be extended and tested for accessibility and responsiveness prior to integration, limiting potential bottlenecks during the testing phase of projects.
